Common questions

Does Kopa need an internet connection?
No. All 211 activities ship inside the app. It works in the woods, on a plane and in a car park with no signal. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is sent.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Install the app, answer three questions and you are in. The website has an optional sign-in to keep favourites across devices, but the app does not use it.
How do I change the ages or categories I picked?
Open the profile tab and tap Retake the quiz. Your favourites are kept.
Can I change the language?
Kopa follows the language of your phone: English, Latvian or Russian. If your phone is set to another language, the app shows English. You can also pick a language explicitly in the profile tab.
Where are my favourites stored?
On your device only. They are not backed up to our servers — we have none — so if you delete the app, they go with it. iCloud or Google device backup may keep them as part of a full-device backup.
An activity didn't work for us.
Sorry about that — every family is different. Tell us which one and what went wrong at [email protected]; we rewrite activities based on exactly this kind of note.
Is Kopa safe for my child to use alone?
Kopa is written for the parent, not the child. It contains no chat, no user content, no links out and no purchases, so there is nothing to worry about — but the activities themselves are meant to be done together with an adult present.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
It is free and has no ads, no subscription and no in-app purchases. Kopa is a small studio project; if it ever gains something paid, it will be optional and clearly separate from what is free today.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: delete the app. That is the only copy. On the website: sign in and remove favourites yourself, or email us to delete the whole account.

Kopa has no account system and no servers, so we cannot look anything up on our side — but that also means there is nothing about you we could lose.
